The search was carried out under judicial warrant on August 14, as part of YKAN’s efforts to identify and arrest people involved in drug trafficking, and took place in the presence of the apartment complex’s deputy manager. Officers found a nylon bag containing cocaine with a total gross weight of 500 grams, along with a further 5 grams of cocaine scattered on the bed. An arrest warrant was subsequently secured against the 26-year-old resident of the apartment. He was arrested yesterday and remanded in custody.
