A man was successfully rescued from an overturned vehicle following a traffic accident that occurred on the Limassol-Nicosia highway on Saturday. The incident took place on the bypass near the Troodos roundabout, as the vehicle was traveling in the direction of Nicosia.
According to Andreas Kettis, a spokesman for the fire service, the accident transpired when the car veered off its intended path, struck a roadside barrier, and subsequently overturned, coming to rest on the roadway. The circumstances surrounding the incident, including the cause of the vehicle's deviation, have not been disclosed.
