**The University of Nicosia Welcomes New Students for English-taught MPharm Programme**
The University of Nicosia has announced that its English-taught Integrated Master in Pharmacy (MPharm) programme is now accepting applications for the 2026–2027 academic year. This initiative aims to enhance access to pharmacy education for both Cypriot and international students, reflecting a growing demand for pharmacy qualifications within an international context.
The MPharm programme is a comprehensive five-year, full-time course delivered on the university's main campus in Nicosia. It is available in both English and Greek, catering to a diverse student body. The programme features extensive practical training, utilizing eight dedicated pharmacy laboratories. These facilities are designed to support instruction in critical areas such as medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical analysis and quality control, drug research and development, pharmacy practice, biology, pharmacology, and chemistry.
Professor Christos Petrou, Head of the Department of Health Sciences at the University of Nicosia, expressed enthusiasm about the programme's English-language offering. He stated, “The availability of the MPharm in English gives more prospective students the opportunity to study pharmacy in Cyprus without compromising on the language of instruction or the quality of their education.” This development is particularly beneficial for international students and Cypriots who may have previously considered pursuing their studies abroad.
