**Karaiskakio Foundation to Hold Glamorous ‘Dinner for Life’ Fundraiser**
The Karaiskakio Foundation is set to host its much-anticipated ‘Dinner For Life’ fundraiser on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 8 PM. The event will take place outdoors at the Paphos Town Hall, marking a significant milestone as the Foundation celebrates 30 years of dedicated service to the community.
This elegant evening promises to blend fine dining, live music, and charitable contributions, all aimed at supporting the Foundation’s Paediatric Cancer Screening and Diagnosis Programme. The importance of early diagnosis in pediatric cancer cases cannot be overstated, as it can significantly improve treatment outcomes and save lives.
Since its establishment, the Karaiskakio Foundation has played a crucial role in providing hope and support to those affected by cancer. Over the past three decades, it has evolved into one of the leading multidisciplinary centers globally, renowned for its extensive bone marrow donor registry, which is the largest per capita in the world. Remarkably, nearly one in four Cypriots is a registered volunteer donor, reflecting the community's commitment to this vital cause.
To date, the Foundation has facilitated life-saving transplants for over 950 patients across 36 countries, showcasing its significant impact on global health and the lives of individuals battling cancer. The upcoming fundraiser aims to further enhance these efforts by raising essential funds for the Foundation's initiatives.
Attendees can look forward to an evening filled with entertainment, featuring performances by popular music artist Constantinos Christoforou and the band ONE, who will serenade guests with a selection of beloved hits. This combination of music and philanthropy is designed to create an unforgettable atmosphere, where attendees can enjoy themselves while contributing to a noble cause.
The event is organized under the patronage of Acting Paphos Mayor Angelos Onisiforos, underscoring the local government's support for the Foundation's mission.
Tickets for the ‘Dinner For Life’ fundraiser are priced at €80 and can be purchased through the Foundation's event website at events.karaiskakio.org.cy. For further inquiries, interested individuals can reach out via phone at 22210858 or 95951641.
