Russia may use China's experience in subsidizing unmanned corridors — business association President of Opora Rossii business association Alexander Kalinin highlighted the Chinese practice of subsidizing 30-50% of the cost of purchasing agricultural drones and devices for field processingYUZHNO-SAKHALINSK, July 3. /TASS/. China's experience in subsidizing unmanned transport corridors was proposed for the use in Russia, President of Opora Rossii business association Alexander Kalinin said at the plenary session of the Wings of Sakhalin forum. "China is a leader in unmanned aerial vehicles. This year, 3.3 million units of drones have been registered in China. And the market is growing, 51% per year. What we liked about their regulation is that unmanned transport corridors are subsidized in China. This is possible through the [Russian] Ministry of Digital Development. The maintenance of such a corridor, especially considering the scale of the Sakhalin Region, involves serious funding. It seems to me that we should utilize the developments of our Chinese colleagues in our regulations," Kalinin said. Kalinin highlighted the Chinese practice of subsidizing 30-50% of the cost of purchasing agricultural drones and devices for field processing. "I believe that if we engage the capabilities of our Ministry of Agriculture, which has significant budgets, we could also stimulate the operation of drones here," Kalinin said.
