Sales of new passenger cars in Russia increased by 29% year-on-year to 116,300 vehicles in June 2026, according to a statement by the Autostat analytical agency. "A total of 116,276 new passenger cars were sold in Russia in June this year, up 29% from the same month in 2025. This was reported by experts at the Autostat agency based on data from PPK JSC and the agency's own market segmentation," the statement said. The top five brands during the period were Lada with 28,100 vehicles sold, followed by Haval (16,100 vehicles), Tenet (12,600), Geely (7,600), and Changan (5,600). The five best-selling models in June were the Lada Granta (11,300 vehicles), Haval Jolion (7,900), Tenet T7 (6,800), Lada Vesta (5,700), and Tenet T4L (3,700). A total of 608,600 new passenger cars were sold in Russia in the first six months of 2026, up 14.8% from the same period in 2025, Autostat added.
