The Aeromax Group of Companies plans to deliver the V-200 helicopter-type unmanned aerial system (UAS) to the Far East, Siberia, and the Arctic to supply hard-to-reach areas, with mass production to start in 2027, Valery Pashchenko, Deputy General Director for Business Development of the Aeromax Group, told TASS at the Wings of Sakhalin forum. "There are several areas we are focusing on. These are hard-to-reach regions, small and remote towns where it is difficult to deliver cargoes. [The drone] will be supplied to the Far East, Siberia, and the Arctic," Pashchenko said. The drone will make it possible to regularly deliver small cargoes to regions of Russia with difficult logistics, the senior executive said. Currently, the Aeromax Group has the task of launching mass production of the drone. "This year we will roll out the first four aircraft from the assembly line. Currently, we have three of them. I believe that by 2027 we will make mass production," Pashchenko noted. The drone will be improved based on the requests of specific customers, he added. The rotary-wing type aircraft was presented during the Wings of Sakhalin forum. According to the press service of the Sakhalin Region’s government, the V-200 helicopter-type drone is capable of delivering cargo weighing 200 kg over a distance of 300 km. The model is equipped with a unique control system of its own design, making it fully autonomous. The main advantage of the V-200 lies in its ability to transport cargo both inside the cabin and on external suspended containers.
